The Wirral To Llandudno Run is always great fun for anyone who is a fan of the Mini. Held every January by the the Wirral Minis club, the run starts in Bromborough and participants can choose to take either the scenic route or a more direct one to Rhos-On-Sea.
After a short stop at Rhos-On-Sea, the run then continues to the top of the Great Orme in Llandudno before finally finishing on the promenade.
The run is free to enter and view, but the club does encourage everyone taking part to purchase a plaque for their car, as the sales from these help to cover the clubs running costs and support its chosen charities. For more details on how to enter your Mini and join the club, please visit their website.
Facilities are limited on the run, you can usually buy a drink before setting off at Bromborough and again at Rhos-On-Sea. There is a toilet available at the top of the Great Orme, which costs 20p. I strongly recommend you wrap up warm for this event, as the top of the Great Orme can be extremely cold!
