#ThreeThingsThursday – What made me smile this week…

Welcome to this week’s Three Things Thursday post, created by Emily at Nerd in the Brain and hosted by Natalie at There She Goes.

Share your joy by posting three things big or small, that have made you happy this week and join in the fun! Want to know what it’s all about? Then click here!

Number One
Making a #wish by tying a ribbon on the #wishing tree
The Nunnington Wishing Tree – I love any opportunity to make a wish, so when I spotted the Wishing Tree at Nunnington Hall, I was so excited to tie my wish ribbon to the tree… here’s hoping it comes true!

Number Two

Historic Houses – I adore places like historic houses, they’re my “happy place” so my weekend was just perfect as I was able to visit two stunning properties. Newby Hall in particular was just breathtaking! As an added bonus for me, I discovered that they filmed one of my favourite shows, Victoria, there.

Number Three

Peacocks – Peacocks are one of my favourite birds, so it made my day to have this beautiful peahen follow me around the beautiful flowers at Nunnington.

    • Natalie says:

I couldn’t believe it when I was watching it again on TV the other night and thought “hang on a moment, I’m sure I’ve been in that room!”
